Info Post

A fire that destroyed a pull-behind camper trailer in Potter County Monday night has been ruled arson.

State Police Fire Marshal David Surra says the camper was parked in the pull-off along the south side of Route 6 in Pike Township just west of the Tioga County line when it was intentionally set on fire at around 10:30 last night.

All identification including the plate and VIN number were removed, so police do not know who owned the camper.

Damage is estimated at $3,000. No one was hurt.
