They are urging people to report any suspicious activity or people in their neighborhoods, and are also urging them to use motion sensor lighting on their property.
Authorities are also asking neighbors to look out for each other. They add that people should not hesitate to call police about anything that appears out of place, or to report any information they may have heard about the fires.
Three fires in St. Marys this month have been ruled arson. A fourth is still under investigation. Arson fires have also been reported in Johnsonburg and Ridgway.
