KOA Speer Electronics is pleased to announce they have once again earned the TTI Supplier Excellence Award for 2011, as well as the Diamond and Best Quality awards. KOA Speer is the recipient of the Platinum Level TTI award, an honor that can only be reached by receiving the Supplier Excellence Award for a minimum of 5 consecutive years. KOA Speer has been an award recipient in 16 of the 17 years TTI has presented this recognition.

The TTI Supplier Excellence Award represents the highest recognition possible of a supplier's performance within TTI. The program is centered on quality measurements that include: on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer-reported quality, administrative quality, operations and business systems. In addition, there are performance measurements such as sales and management support.

In addition to maintaining Platinum status, KOA Speer was also awarded the Diamond and Best Quality Awards for the second consecutive year. Introduced last year, the Diamond Award recognizes the company with the overall highest point achievement, while the Best Quality Award is given to the supplier who scores the highest in each of the possible Quality categories.

Chris Forbes, National Distributor Sales Manager at KOA Speer, attributed their continued success to the dedicated KOA employees. "Our employees' dedication to serve our customers at the highest possible level is key to our continued success," Forbes stated. "It is in the true spirit of our Quality 1st initiative." KOA Speer's Quality 1st initiative works to deliver high quality products and services in Manufacturing, Product Solutions and Customer Service.

Melanie Pizzey, TTI Vice President Global Product Operations, made the announcement. Achievement of this award not only represents the dedication of all KOA Speer Electronics employees to TTI, but also management's commitment and overall operating philosophy for excellence by allocation of resources, allowing employees the opportunity to do the right thing in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
