A tanker truck that tipped over Monday morning kept a Tioga County road closed for several hours and sent a Ulysses man to the hospital.
Police say 35-year-old John Taylor was on Route 287 at around 9 a.m. when the truck went off the berm and, when he tried to get back onto the road he over compensated and the truck tipped over, spilling diesel fuel onto the road.
Taylor was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for minor injuries.
