26-year-old Stephen Schindlbeck was originally charged with first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. He pleaded guilty to attempted robbery, and has been sentenced to 1 ½ to 3 years in state prison.
On August 15 on North Union Street in Olean he robbed a cab driver at gunpoint and got $106.
